Quitclaim by Thomas Scott of Smede in the county of Kent, knight, Charles Scott of Godmersham in the county aforesaid, esquire, Henry Scott of Smede, gentleman, George Scott of the parish of St. Sepulcher within the city of London, gentleman, and Reginald Scott of Smede, gentleman, to Roger Twysden of Wye in the county aforesaid, esquire, of all their right in 8 pieces of land and meadow with their appurtenances called Le Herst, Byefelds, Stockenbuncfeld, and one parcel of wood containing 6 acres, 1 rood, and 12 perches, being a portion of Stockenbunc wood, containing in all 58 acres, lying in the parishes of East Peckham and Nettlested in the said county of Kent, bounded by the land of Richard Fane, gentleman, and the lands of Robert Konwardes called Longshottes to the west; the lands of Thomas, Fane, knight, and the lands of Edmund Pelham, gentleman, to the south, the king's highway and the wood of the said Thomas Scott called Stockenbunc woodes to the east and north, and the lands of Lady Elizabeth Goldynge, widow, to the north. With a note in English on the reverse of delivery by the grantors, with witnesses.
